Physicians and staff from The Westerly Hospital will face off against South County Hospital in a basketball game to raise funds for local charities. The game will be held at The Westerly Middle School Gym located at 10 Sandy Hill Road in Westerly on Friday, March 27 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit The Westerly Hospital’s annual Helping Hands Fund established by employees to benefit local charities. This year’s funds will benefit the Domestic Violence Resource Center, Bradford Jonnycake Center, Westerly Adult Day Services, and The Olean Center.
The lineup for The Westerly Hospital team will include “Coach” Jeff Killeen; Referees Ed James and Lou Laudone; Dr. Frank Leddy, Urologist; Dr. Jeff Feldman, Ear, Nose, and Throat; Dr. Curt Gramlich, Anesthesiologist; Dr. George Bourganos, Cardiologist; Dr. Andrew Neuhauser, OB/Gyn; Dr. Jeffrey Christian, General Surgeon; Dr. John Griffin, General Surgeon; Dr. James Stuart, Internal Medicine; Dr. Mike LaMotte; Jim Behan; Kayla MacDonald; Jodi Umphlett; Tiffany Heywood; Tony Trombino.
